Delhi Police Informed About October 10 Jantar Mantar Protest: Neha Bora, Saurav Das
New Delhi: During a media interaction, Neha Bora and Saurav Das said that Delhi Police has been formally informed about the proposed October 10 protest at Jantar Mantar and that the required undertakings have also been submitted.
They said the protesters do not view the process as seeking “permission”, stating that the police are being intimated so that necessary arrangements for law and order and traffic management can be made.
The two also said that young people from across political affiliations are being invited to participate in the protest concerning voting rights and the Election Commission. They stated that the demonstrations would continue.
