Sushil shanker vig editor in chief teport There were 2 brothers in a city. The elder is fond saints &Dana. The younger hated saints and order spiritual activity. A renowned Sadhu came to that city accompanied by his number of disciples. The elder brother met the Sadhu and invited to his house when his younger brother would be absent in the house. But the Sadhu visited their house when the younger brother was present.Listening rhe Sankirtan he became fire with elder brother and remained in a room and locked it. The saint had pangata (ate)with his disciples and after some time the disciples left the house making Sankirtan but the saint sat silently There. After sometime the younger brother came out of the room and the saint caught his hand immediately and said he would free him when he utter Rama Naam. Getting no way out the younger brother uttered Rama Naam once. The saint said he wouldn’t sell Rama Naam. After some years the younger brother died. When he was taken to Yamapura .Chitragupta the minister told yama that he did all evils except uttering Rama Naam once on compulsion of the saint. So Yama asked if he wanted to get the result of good deed or bad deeds. He replied good deed. Yama asked whats the value of Rama Naam. The younger brother couldn’t reply. So Yama went Indraji,Brahmaji and Shankar Bhagaban with that Atma. But no Debatas could say the value of Rama Naam. At last being hopeless that all went to Vishnu Bhagaban to know the value of His own Naam. Vishnu Bhagaban was happy to see all the Debatas and said to give him what they all carried with them. Soon the Atma was handed over to Vishnu Bhagaban. All asked the value of Rama Naam. Vishnu Bhagaban said for the power of Rama Naam DEBATAS carried him and at last he came to Baikuntha where Jiva never returns. By uttering Rama Naam once he could come to Baikuntha. This is the value of Rama Naam. Friends mukhme Ram hathme kaam should be the motto of our lives.
